A PLAYER CAN ENTER THEIR INITIALS IN THE GAME BEFORE PLAY:
In a video game you enter your initial at the end of the game.....in Bowling, you enter your name before the game starts.
Here's how it works:
The player puts money in the game,
Player presses the Start Button,
The Player presses the Select button to choose the game they want to play,
The Player then Presses the Start Button again,
A screen comes up which says Press Start to Add Players or slide puck to begin game" Simple....but at that screen the player can press the Select Button again and then enter their initials with the Select button and Start Button.
Then slide the puck to begin the game. The pressing of the Select button AGAIN at that point is the only additional step needed for initial entry....try it......it's easy.
It is harder to explain it in writing or written instructions but very easy to learn taught player to player....which is what we see.
There are many video games and pinball machines that have these type of "Easter Eggs"....we wanted to still enter initials and have only two buttons to do it.
